the hunger games

I've read a book called The Hunger Games By: Suzanne Collins, this book is about a girl name Katniss Everdeen and they have a reaping where they pick the two tributes that will take part in the hunger games and the two people that got picked were Katniss's sister Prim and Peeta Mellark but instead of Prim taking part in the hunger games Katniss volunteers as a tribute and they go to the caqptiol and play in the hunger games where one team survives and katniss and peeta act like they're lovers so they can get through the hunger games easier and at the end katiniss and peeta win the hunger games as the victors of district 12

I have a read a book it's called Twilight By: Stephanie Meyer. I really like Twilight its one of my favorite books. Twilight is a book about a girl named Bella and she moves from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington so she can give her mom and her husband space and spend time with her dad and Bella starts in a new school she makes new friends and then she meets Edward Cullen and he sits next to her in science and he acts weird towards her and then he disappears for a week and then he comes back and starts talking to Bella and then Bella finds out that Edward is a vampire and she not scared of him she feels quite safe around him and then she gets introduced to the Cullen family and Edwards sister Rosalie doesn't really like her and then Edward and his family go play baseball and they take Bella with them and then while they're playing these three vampires come to meet him and these vampire have been killing people in the area lately and one of the vampires James notices that Bella is human and he wants to have her blood and then Bella and Edward run away and the vampire calls Bella telling her that he has her mom but he really doesn't its just a trick and then Bella goes and he tries to drink Bella's blood but Edward saves her and then Edward and Bella go to prom together.

summary

I read a story called The Bet and it was about if there should be death penalty or capital punishment and it was about a banker who threw a party and at the party the guests were discussing about capital punishment and death penalty and there was lawyer who disagreed with death penalty and believed the prisoner should have life in prison, so the lawyer made a bet with the banker to stay in solitary confinement for 15 years for 2 million dollars and the lawyer got imprisoned and he was allowed to read, write, write letters, music, drink wine, and smoke but slowly he got lonely and depressed and then he started reading books and he learned new things, he learned how to speak new languages and he gained new knowledge and then the 15 years were up but the banker had no money to give to the lawyer the banker was broke, because the banker had no money he wanted to murder the lawyer but when the banker went to kill the lawyer in the room he found a letter on the lawyer's desk and it said that he didn't want the 2 million dollars anymore and that there are more important things in life, So there was no murder necessary and the moral of the story was you can turn knowledge into wisdom, but you can't gain from life's experiences without a sense of community.
